Cookie policy

This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. Here you can find information about form sessions and how the migration checklist is remembered in your browser. Last updated: 18 October 2026.

1. What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small piece of information that a website stores in your browser. It can serve various purposes, such as maintaining a session, security verification or remembering preferences. Some cookies expire when the browser session closes; others remain on the device for a specified period.

2. Cookies used on this website

Ajans Hosting's public content pages do not use advertising, remarketing or third-party analytics cookies. The following essential session cookie may be used on pages that require form security.

Website form session
NamePurposeDuration
AHSESSIDTo associate the form session with request validation and perform security checks against forged or automated submissions.Browser session. Server-side session data is intended to have a one-hour lifetime; the cleanup time depends on the server's session mechanism.

On HTTPS connections, the cookie uses the Secure attribute, HttpOnly to restrict access by browser scripts, and SameSite=Lax to limit cross-site transmission. The form security token is kept in the server session; it is not used to create advertising profiles.

The network security provider may set its own essential security cookie when threat detection or automated traffic verification is needed. The scope of these cookies varies according to the security feature in use.

3. Remembering the migration checklist within a tab

When JavaScript is enabled, selections in the migration checklist are stored in the browser's sessionStorage. This is a browser storage method separate from cookies. Only the identifiers of checked items are saved; no name, email address or domain is requested. The checklist does not send this information to the server or create a migration request.

Your selections are remembered when you refresh the page in the same tab. This storage is expected to end when the tab session ends; a browser's feature for restoring closed tabs or sessions may restore the selections. The checklist's “Clear selections” button deletes the saved selections. If browser storage is blocked, selections are available only while the page remains open.

The “Download checked list · TXT” button creates the file in your browser. The saved file remains on your device; closing the tab or clearing your selections does not delete that file.

4. Cookie preferences and blocking

You can view, delete or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking the essential session cookie may prevent form submissions and security verification from working. In that case, you can use the appropriate contact channel in the customer portal.

Because cookies are used only for essential functions, this website does not display a preference window asking you to accept advertising or analytics categories. If non-essential cookies are introduced in future, their purposes, providers and durations must be updated, and they must not run before the required preference mechanism is in place.

5. The customer portal and other websites

The customer application at portal.ajanshosting.com may use separate cookies for login, account and order functions. When you visit the portal, review the privacy and cookie information provided in that application separately. Cookies set by websites opened through external links are not covered by the list on this page.
