What services do I need for my first website?

The domain name is the address a visitor enters; hosting runs the web files and database. Choose hosting that meets your application’s needs and point the domain’s DNS records to it. Before launch, check HTTPS, forms and any email records. Your domain and email do not have to be with the same provider.

How do I choose between web hosting, WordPress hosting and reseller hosting?

Web hosting is an option for company websites and compatible web applications. With WordPress plans, the resource needs of themes, plugins, caching and dynamic processing matter most. If you will give different clients panel access, the reseller model requires separate accounts. Consider your access arrangements and actual usage as well as the number of sites.

Do I need to transfer my domain and email when I change hosting?

No. Domain registration, your website and email are different services. You can keep your existing email provider when changing only your web hosting. List MX, SPF, DKIM and DMARC records alongside your web records during migration; avoid unintentionally changing working email routing.

When do I need a VPS, VDS or dedicated server?

Server options are worth considering when you need a custom service, operating system access or an environment beyond standard hosting. Choose resource allocation, licenses, the person responsible for management and a backup plan together. For projects requiring physical hardware, disks, RAID, remote access and hardware intervention are also part of the scope.

Which costs should I check when comparing plan prices?

Compare initial term and renewal amounts separately, using the same currency and billing period. Check VAT, panel and operating system licenses, backups, additional IPs and one-time migration charges. Where should I start as an agency?

Count clients and sites separately; keep applications, disk usage, email, access permissions and renewal dates in an inventory.
